The land of Himantra has a history that goes back countless generations and even the Elders dont know all of it. Yet sit around this old wolf and perhaps I can try and shed some light on how we got to where we are now. Listen well to my words you who are our future warriors and heed well my words.
At one time we were all one pack and were led by a wise pair of wolves. Togethor we were strong and, so legend says, our one large pack beat back demons and monsters that only the most demented mind could think of. There was no need of greed and no need for evil thoughts for we all were one.
Then came the fateful day that the elements showed themselves to us. Thats when some became greedy, demanding the power for themselves, while others thought we should stay away from them. Generations of fighting caused two big groups that would later become Dusk (the greedy) and Light (the pure). Wolves seemed to be born to use one element and it seemed to effect their thinking, almost infusing them with it body, soul, and mind. Eventually the light packs came to accept their elemental gifts and used them to better themselves to become one Kingdom. The Dusk packs feared such a large group of united wolves who now seemed to fight as one and were of one leader. A tentative peace was formed amongst these packs who then came togethor to form the Dusk Kingdom.
War still raged between these two groups for various reasons. For the most part it was believed by the "darker" wolves that if they killed off the Light ones that their powers would become theirs. They also believed that the Lights were hiding more powers and becoming stronger still. The Light Kingdom fought in self defense and in attempt to bring their unruly fellow canines under control.
Seperate these two groups have been and seem that they will always be. Yet can these two different groups inhabit the same land? This is the question I ask you pups and only you can answer.

Diamond was wandering around the Ice Caves. She hadn't been here in a while, she was always searching for food because of the famine going on. She came back to the ice Caves because she had a secret hideout of food.
Diamond headed to the very back of the brightest cave, she then began digging in her secret hole. The hole was already made for her though, not knowing who or what made it. There was a dead bird, a few mice and rats, and some other things.
She dragged them out and began eating. She ate slowly, not wanting to waste it. She became full, Diamond was a small fox so she didn't eat much. She then huddled in her little ice bed and fell asleep.

Diamond had woken up, a little hungrier though. She ran outside of her cave and began walking around. She looked down at her body, she was very thin. Diamond saw a frozen bird, ran up to it, and began chewing on it. When there was no more, she smelt the air. There was no more food in the entire Ice Cave area.
It began to snow.
Diamond loved the snow! She waited for a good pile and jumped into it. She calmed down a bit, Diamond didn't want to waste all of her energy, because then she'd be hungry again. Slowly and calmly, she pushed a soft pile of snow into her cave. Diamond then made a soft bed out of the snow. Laying in it, then falling asleep, listening to the snow fall.
